Who we are
Built in Chemical Valley
Sarnia-Lambton is the densest concentration of petrochemical plants in Canada. It is a hard place to be an average contractor. We would know. We have fabricated here for 40 years.
Promart started as a small fabrication shop serving local industry. Four decades later we run an 80,000 square foot fabrication facility, a 25,000 square foot climate-controlled coating plant, and an 11-acre laydown yard, all on Vanier Road in Sarnia.
The work changed over the years. The standard did not. We grew from plant maintenance steel into multi-site structural programs, then qualified our quality system for nuclear supply under CSA N299.3. Today the same shop that cut its teeth on refinery steel ships fabrication to nuclear, data center, battery, and federal infrastructure projects.
Clients use us as a fabricator, a coatings shop, or a full-service industrial contractor: steel detailed, fabricated, coated, delivered, and installed by one company. However you scope us, the same certified systems run the work.
We stay deliberately mid-sized. Big enough to carry a 2,800 ton program. Small enough that the owner knows what shipped yesterday.
